Will my callers know it's an AI?

We're explicit when asked, and the agent will introduce itself by your business name. In practice the conversation is so natural that most callers describe the experience as talking to a friendly receptionist.

What happens when something is outside what the agent can handle?

It transfers — to the number you choose, with caller context delivered via a quick voice handoff or SMS summary. You can configure transfer rules for billing, urgent matters, specific staff, and after-hours.

How fast can I be live?

If you go with a new Pivot Assist number, you can be answering real calls the same day you sign up — provisioning takes minutes. If you want to keep your existing business line, see the question below about porting.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Yes. Porting your existing number to Pivot Assist is supported, but the carriers run that process and it typically takes 1–2 weeks from request to cutover. We strongly recommend pairing a port with a temporary new Pivot Assist number so you can start taking calls right away while the port works through the carriers.

Which calendars work?

Google Calendar via OAuth, or your own scheduling system via webhook. We can also push to most CRMs if you have one.
